Launched in 2021, Ekillibre is a Belgian startup reinventing school cafeterias by offering healthy, sustainable meals that support local producers. When we began working together, Ekillibre was delivering 5,000 meals daily. Today, that number has risen to over 8,500 meals delivered each day to more than 170 schools across Wallonia and Brussels, thanks to the support of 22 caterers! The goal? To provide quality meals that meet students’ nutritional needs.
In 2024, Benoit Leplae, founder of Ekillibre, called on Nonante Cinq to shine a brighter spotlight on his project and also develop his personal branding as an entrepreneur. This goal was successfully achieved, with extensive media coverage including L’Écho, Vivacité, La Une, Moustique, La Libre Éco, LN24, and more! Following an appearance on the show On n’est pas des pigeons, the startup received numerous inbound requests—clear proof of the tangible impact a public relations campaign can have on a business.
