For an awareness campaign about a (too) little-known disease, the Belgian Cardiac League called on our services to develop a comprehensive 360° campaign.
The main character of this campaign is atherosclerosis, a disease that silently affects 750,000 Belgians. Since this condition is the root cause of most cardiovascular diseases, it is classified as the leading cause of death worldwide. It can therefore be considered the world’s deadliest serial killer.
We decided to play on this statistic for the awareness campaign, which was designed as an investigation. Clues left by this mysterioys serial-killer were shared on the League’s social media channels as well as on city screens. Each clue was always accompanied by a prevention message, emphasizing that it is never too late to adopt healthy habits to escape this statistic.
We also took care of designing the webpage to which users were directed to learn more information about this disease.
Video capsules were produced featuring cardiology doctors to simplify the information and shed light on the weapons used by this notorious serial killer, as well as ways to avoid it.

Our prevention message was also broadcast on the radio through a spot whose mysterious tone echoes the campaign’s atmosphere.
