Ever since he was a child, Nathan Soret has asked questions… a lot of questions! While curiosity is sometimes seen as a flaw, it can also be a great strength — even a vital asset in certain career paths, when properly nurtured.
After spending over 10 years in the media industry and founding Nonante Cinq, Nathan has storytelling and connecting with others in his blood. So it was only natural, driven by his insatiable curiosity, that he launched “Secrets de” — a project aimed at shedding light on overlooked professions that are often mysterious, misunderstood… but always fascinating.
The concept? Through recorded conversations with leading experts in their fields, “Secrets de” reveals the inner workings of intriguing, lesser-known, or often-misunderstood professions. Two seasons have already been released, featuring a wide range of guests including David Antoine (radio host), Marie Guérin (editor-in-chief of ELLE Belgium), Pablo Andres (comedian), Adélaïde Charlier (activist), François Bailly (spokesperson for the Prime Minister), Rafael Deprost (photographer), Jacques Séguéla (advertising legend), Siré Kaba (designer), and many more.
“Secrets de” didn’t actually start out on streaming platforms… but rather in a movie theater ! The concept was originally born as a series of live talks. Back then, a select audience had the chance to attend events like “Secrets de Managers” or “Secrets de Journalistes” at the White Cinema in Brussels. These events were complemented by live performances from emerging artists — a winning combination that captivated and built a loyal audience eager to learn more about the world of music and media.
